Terms of Use
Last Updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, courses, products, services, content, and other offerings provided by Middlemanns LLC, doing business as Business of Vintage (“Business of Vintage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms apply to businessofvintage.com, businessofvintage.thinkific.com, and any courses, educational materials, digital products, live sessions, communities, or other services we provide through those websites or in connection with Business of Vintage (collectively, the “Services”).
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing or using our Services.
By accessing our Services, creating an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a product or service, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You may use our Services only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should purchase or use our paid Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
Our Services are not directed specifically to children under the age of 13. Children under 13 should not create an account, purchase Services, or submit personal information without any parental consent or other authorization required by applicable law.
By purchasing or using our Services, you represent that you satisfy these requirements.
2. Accounts
Certain Services may require you to create an account through Thinkific or another platform.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating or maintaining your account.
Your account and course access are for your individual use only unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
You may not:
share your username or password with another person;
allow another person to access paid course materials through your account;
purchase a single enrollment for use by multiple people;
sell, transfer, sublicense, or otherwise provide your account to another person; or
attempt to circumvent account, enrollment, or access restrictions.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us promptly at [email protected].
3. Purchases and Payment
Prices for our courses, products, and Services will be displayed at the time of purchase.
By submitting an order, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method you provide for the applicable purchase price, taxes, and any other charges disclosed to you before purchase.
Payments for courses sold through our Thinkific course website are processed through Thinkific Payments and its underlying payment providers.
You agree to provide accurate and complete billing and payment information.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a transaction where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, payment failure, pricing or technical errors, violation of these Terms, or other legitimate business reasons.
4. Payment Plans and Installments
Certain products or courses may be offered using an installment or payment plan.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, a payment plan is not a month-to-month subscription. It is a method of paying the full purchase price of a product or course over multiple installments.
By selecting a payment plan, you agree to pay all installments associated with the purchase, even if you stop participating in, accessing, or completing the course.
Stopping your use of the course does not cancel your remaining payment obligations.
If an installment payment fails, we may:
attempt to process the payment again;
contact you regarding the outstanding balance;
suspend or restrict course access while payment remains outstanding; or
take other reasonable steps to collect amounts that are properly due.
Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
If Business of Vintage offers subscription-based products or memberships in the future, additional subscription, renewal, and cancellation terms may be provided at the time of purchase. Those additional terms will apply to the applicable subscription.
5. Refund Policy
All sales are final.
Except where otherwise expressly stated by Business of Vintage in writing or required by applicable law, we do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for courses, digital products, downloads, workshops, or other Services after purchase.
Before purchasing, you are responsible for reviewing the applicable course or product description and determining whether the offering is appropriate for your needs.
Failure to access, participate in, or complete a course does not entitle you to a refund.
If you purchase through a payment plan, the no-refund policy does not eliminate your obligation to complete the remaining installment payments.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or experienced a billing error, please contact us at [email protected].
6. Course Access
Unless a different access period is expressly stated on the applicable sales or checkout page, purchasing a Business of Vintage course provides you with access to that course for as long as Business of Vintage continues to make the course available through its Thinkific course platform.
We sometimes describe this as ongoing or indefinite access. It does not mean that Business of Vintage guarantees that a course, Thinkific account, website, platform, or particular technology will exist permanently or for your lifetime.
We may eventually retire, replace, migrate, substantially update, or discontinue a course or the platform through which it is provided.
If we decide to discontinue a paid course entirely, we will make reasonable efforts, where practicable, to provide enrolled students with notice or an opportunity to access relevant materials before access ends.
We may also modify individual lessons, modules, downloads, resources, instructors, bonuses, links, or course features over time.
A purchase gives you access to the course and materials included with your purchase. It does not automatically entitle you to every future Business of Vintage product, course, service, bonus, update, consultation, community, or live event unless expressly stated.
7. Intellectual Property
The Services contain intellectual property owned by or licensed to Business of Vintage.
This may include, without limitation:
course videos and recordings;
written lessons;
presentations and slides;
worksheets;
workbooks;
exercises;
templates;
checklists;
scripts;
frameworks;
methodologies;
downloads;
graphics;
photographs;
audio;
branding;
logos;
website content;
course organization and curriculum; and
other educational or proprietary materials.
These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing or accessing a course does not transfer ownership of these materials to you.
Subject to these Terms, Business of Vintage grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use purchased course materials for your own personal or business education.
8. What You May Not Do With Course Materials
Unless Business of Vintage gives you prior written permission, you may not:
reproduce or distribute substantial portions of course materials;
share course videos, recordings, PDFs, worksheets, templates, or downloads with other people;
share your login or allow others to access paid content through your account;
upload paid course materials to publicly accessible websites, databases, file-sharing services, or repositories;
sell, sublicense, license, rent, or commercially distribute course materials;
republish course materials as your own;
create or sell a course, workshop, membership, consulting product, template library, or other commercial offering that substantially reproduces Business of Vintage's course materials;
remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices;
record or redistribute course videos or live sessions without permission; or
otherwise exploit Business of Vintage intellectual property outside the license granted in these Terms.
You may apply the ideas, concepts, strategies, and skills you learn through our courses to your own business.
The purpose of these restrictions is not to prevent you from using what you learn. They are intended to prevent unauthorized copying, redistribution, resale, or reproduction of the educational materials themselves.
9. Artificial Intelligence and Course Materials
You may use artificial-intelligence tools to help you apply concepts from a Business of Vintage course to your own business, provided that your use complies with these Terms.
For example, you may use an AI tool to help brainstorm ideas based on something you learned in a course or to help apply a framework to your own business.
However, you may not upload, submit, reproduce, or otherwise use substantial portions of Business of Vintage's paid course materials for the purpose of:
reproducing or summarizing the course for distribution to others;
creating a substitute for purchasing or taking the course;
building a competing course, product, service, or content library;
generating derivative commercial materials that substantially reproduce our proprietary content;
creating a dataset consisting substantially of our proprietary course materials; or
training or fine-tuning an AI model on our proprietary course materials without our written permission.
Nothing in this section prevents reasonable personal use of AI tools to apply what you have learned.
10. Student Submissions and Your Intellectual Property
Certain Services may allow you to submit assignments, files, survey responses, quiz answers, comments, business information, community posts, questions, or other content (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content through our Services, you grant Business of Vintage a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to:
provide the Services;
administer the course;
review or respond to your submission;
facilitate discussions or community features;
provide feedback or support;
maintain course records; and
operate the applicable service.
This license does not automatically give Business of Vintage the right to use your private assignments, business information, name, likeness, logo, or other identifying materials in advertising.
You represent that you have the right to submit your User Content and that your submission does not violate another person's intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal rights.
11. Feedback
We welcome feedback about Business of Vintage and our Services.
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, comments, or recommendations specifically about how Business of Vintage could improve its courses, products, Services, or business (“Feedback”), you agree that we may use that Feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
Feedback does not include your private course assignments, confidential business information, or other User Content merely because you submit it through a course.
12. Testimonials and Promotional Use
We may ask whether you would be willing to provide a testimonial, review, success story, case study, photograph, video, or other promotional material.
We will not treat your purchase of a course or your submission of ordinary private coursework as automatic permission to use your name, photograph, likeness, business name, logo, private course submissions, or identifiable results in Business of Vintage marketing.
Where appropriate, we will obtain permission or another valid authorization before using identifiable student content for promotional purposes.
If you voluntarily submit a testimonial specifically for promotional use, any additional permissions presented when you provide that testimonial will apply.
13. Community and User Conduct
Some Services may include comments, discussions, group calls, community areas, forums, or other opportunities to interact with Business of Vintage and other participants.
You agree to interact respectfully and lawfully.
You may not use the Services to:
harass, threaten, bully, intimidate, or abuse another person;
engage in unlawful discrimination or hateful conduct;
impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
post defamatory, obscene, threatening, or unlawful material;
disclose another person's private or confidential information without authorization;
collect or use information about other students for unsolicited marketing;
spam, solicit, or advertise to other participants without permission;
infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
distribute malicious software or harmful code;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or information;
disrupt or interfere with the Services;
scrape, crawl, harvest, or automatically extract protected course content without permission;
use another student's account;
share or distribute paid course materials without authorization; or
use the Services for an unlawful purpose.
We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access to content or community features that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.
Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of access.
14. Live Sessions and Zoom
Certain courses or Services may include live meetings, webinars, workshops, office hours, Q&A sessions, or other events conducted through Zoom or another third-party platform.
We may record certain sessions.
When a session will be recorded, we will endeavor to provide notice through Zoom, verbally, in writing, or through another reasonable method.
Depending on the session, a recording may capture participant names, profile images, audio, video, screen sharing, or chat messages.
If you do not want your image or voice included in a recording, you should keep your camera and microphone turned off and avoid submitting identifying information through recorded portions of the session, where the format allows.
Some recordings may be made available to other enrolled students as part of the applicable course.
Participation in third-party services such as Zoom may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy practices.
15. Educational Purposes Only
Business of Vintage provides courses, content, and Services for educational and informational purposes.
Our Services are intended to help participants learn about subjects such as branding, marketing, content, ecommerce, vintage and antiques businesses, and related topics.
Information provided through the Services should not be considered legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, medical, or other regulated professional advice.
You are responsible for determining how information applies to your own circumstances and for obtaining appropriate professional advice when necessary.
16. No Guarantee of Results
Business and marketing outcomes vary substantially from person to person and business to business.
We do not guarantee that purchasing, completing, or implementing a Business of Vintage course or Service will result in:
increased sales or revenue;
increased profit;
increased website traffic;
increased social-media followers or engagement;
media or press coverage;
marketplace success;
customer acquisition;
business growth;
specific financial results; or
any other particular outcome.
Examples, case studies, student experiences, testimonials, or results discussed in our Services are provided for educational or illustrative purposes and should not be interpreted as promises that you will achieve the same results.
Your results depend on numerous factors, including your experience, effort, business model, products, market, audience, implementation, economic conditions, platforms used, and circumstances outside Business of Vintage's control.
You remain responsible for your own business decisions and results.
17. Changes to Courses and Services
We continually develop and improve our Services.
We may update, modify, reorganize, replace, add, or remove course materials, resources, features, or tools.
We may also change the platforms or third-party providers used to deliver Services.
We will make reasonable efforts not to materially deprive purchasers of the core educational product they purchased without an appropriate reason.
We do not guarantee that every particular lesson, bonus, feature, integration, instructor, third-party resource, community feature, or live component will remain available indefinitely.
18. Third-Party Platforms and Links
Our Services may rely on or link to third-party platforms and services, including Thinkific, Thinkific Payments, Zoom, Squarespace, Mailchimp, Google, and Meta.
Third-party websites and services are operated independently of Business of Vintage and may be governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and practices.
We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, functionality, content, privacy practices, security, or actions of independent third-party services.
From time to time, a third-party service may experience outages, interruptions, changes, or discontinuation that affect our Services.
We may take reasonable steps to restore or provide access where practicable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of services controlled by third parties.
Links to third-party websites or resources do not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
19. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, available through Business of Vintage's website and course platform.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed as described in that Privacy Policy.
20. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate educational content.
However, industries, online platforms, marketplaces, technologies, advertising systems, laws, regulations, best practices, and other information can change over time.
We do not guarantee that every piece of information contained in a course will remain current indefinitely.
Course materials may include historical examples or information that was accurate when originally created.
You are responsible for verifying information where current accuracy is important to a decision you make.
We reserve the right to correct errors and update course content without prior notice.
21. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to some or all of the Services if we reasonably believe that you have materially violated these Terms.
Reasons may include:
sharing your account or login credentials;
unauthorized distribution of course materials;
infringement of our intellectual property;
harassment or abusive community conduct;
fraudulent activity;
failure to make required installment payments;
attempts to compromise the security of the Services;
unlawful activity; or
another material violation of these Terms.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve a violation before termination, but we are not required to do so in circumstances involving serious misconduct, security concerns, fraud, piracy, or other substantial violations.
If your access is terminated because of your violation of these Terms, you may not be entitled to a refund, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, outstanding payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law, will survive termination.
22. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
BUSINESS OF VINTAGE MAKES NO GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY OTHER WARRANTIES THAT MAY OTHERWISE BE IMPLIED.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES WARRANTIES OR OTHER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE EXCLUDED.
23. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MIDDLEManns LLC, BUSINESS OF VINTAGE, AND THEIR OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR SIMILAR LOSSES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF MIDDLEManns LLC AND BUSINESS OF VINTAGE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A PARTICULAR COURSE, PRODUCT, OR SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BUSINESS OF VINTAGE FOR THAT COURSE, PRODUCT, OR SERVICE.
THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, these provisions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
24. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Middlemanns LLC, Business of Vintage, and their officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:
User Content you submit that infringes or violates another person's rights;
your unlawful use of the Services;
your unauthorized distribution or misuse of course materials;
your material violation of these Terms; or
your violation of applicable law or another person's legal rights.
25. Changes to Prices and Offerings
Prices for future purchases may change at any time.
A later change in the price of a product or course does not entitle an earlier purchaser to a refund, credit, or price adjustment unless we expressly offer one.
We may offer promotions, discounts, bonuses, bundles, or different pricing to different customers or at different times.
These promotional changes do not alter the terms of an earlier purchase.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, technology, or legal obligations.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms indicates when they were most recently revised.
Material changes will apply prospectively to the extent required by applicable law.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
If a change materially affects a previously purchased Service, any rights you have under applicable law will continue to apply.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
28. No Waiver
Our failure to exercise or enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.
29. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly presented in connection with a particular purchase or Service, constitute the agreement between you and Business of Vintage regarding your use and purchase of those Services.
If specific terms presented on a sales or checkout page conflict with these general Terms regarding matters such as price, included features, payment schedule, or access period, the specific terms presented for that purchase will control with respect to that issue.
30. Assignment and Business Transfers
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, financing, or other transfer of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.
31. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of rights that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to that consumer.
